Thai Yoga Massage is a fully clothed "dry" massage, meaning there is no oil used on the skin. Some salve may be applied to sore and tired areas for relief, but it is optional. Clients should dress in lightweight, loose-fitting clothing, socks will be removed.
Sessions are done lying on the back, abdomen, and seated during different phases of the massage. Clients will experience a mixture of acupressure like massage and passive "yoga" like stretching, where your practitioner does all the work to support you and you breathe through tension. Massage and gentle to deep pressure are performed on the "meridians" or lines of the body to increase energy flow and loosen tight tissue. Stretching will increase energy and blood flow throughout the body to reduce tension, stress and increase well-being.
Jennifer is a certified yoga therapist through the International Association of Yoga Therapists and has been actively practicing for 15 years, and a NCBTMB Certified Thai Massage Practitioner through The Studio Cleveland's "Classic" training program in 2011.
Session availability is usually Tuesday & Thursday evenings, ask about weekday and weekend availability. Clients usually meet once a month for sessions.
Contact Jennifer to get approval for home office visits if you are a new client. Referrals are welcome. Appointment dates can be sent upon request. All visits are pre-paid and there are no refunds for late cancellations.
Cancellation Policy: All sessions are prepaid prior to the visit. There are no refunds past a 24-hour cancellation for non-emergency-related events. Cancellations must be done by phone and confirmed.
